When I traveled to South Korea with my 3 elderly relatives, I prepared a Korea information pack for them, including this basic Korean Phrase sheet in case we ever got separated!

| How do I get to…..? | [Insert Place name here] 어떻게 가나요? | [Insert Place name here ] eotteoge kkanayo |
| Where is the toilet? | 화장실 어디입니까 | hwajangsil eodiibnikka |
| How much is this? | 이게 얼마야? | igor eolmaya? |
| Excuse me | 저기요 | Cho-gi-yo |
| Can you speak English | 영어하세요? | Yeong-eo Haseyo |
| Save me/ rescue me | 살려주다 | sallyeojuda |
| Thank You | 감사합니다 | Gamsa Hamnida |
There are other phrases of course but I didn't want to overwhelm them!
In addition the above, I also had the Korean names and telephone numbers for all our hotels, as well as that of the Singapore embassy in Korea.
What phrases would you include for a first time visitor to Korea?
